Marlene often wonders how she wasn’t sorted into Slytherin. She is nothing like most of the Gryffindors, cunning and daring, and gives the younger students a dirty look down her nose which causes them to duck for cover. But if you have booze and know of a good party then Marlene is your best friend. And if there is some reason that Marlene doesn’t get her way - well, you better run and hide because odds are she’ll lash out and throw a fit until she gets her way. She plays beater on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, alongside one of her best friends, Mary MacDonald. Her other best friend would be Lily Evans, and Marlene is also quite close with the 6th year Gryffindor boys, especially James Potter. She would risk her life for her friends and family, even if she doesn’t admit it aloud.
